本校為加州大學十所分校之一，其中研究生約有5,400人，風景自然美麗，
為所有加大中校園面積第一。Davis基本上為一大學城，民風樸實且環保意識強烈，
大多非常友善少種族偏見，故為體驗各國風情的好地方。除了缺乏大都市的繁華喧囂外，
可說是非常理想的居住與求學環境。來自台灣的同學們—WELCOME!
