由於加州氣候舒適、環境自然，所以除了開會上班外，大多數人衣著皆以 Casual Style、簡單大方為主，與台灣服飾走日系流行的趨向不同。休閒家居服若不講究，在 Wal-Mart、Target、K-Mart、Costco 等可買到很便宜的，或是到百貨公司去買（如 Macy's、Sears、JCPenney 等）。大的shopping mall 裡都有幾家百貨公司，但 mall 主要還是以聚集商店為主。台灣也有的牌子不少，更不乏名牌店。但一般而言，買名牌要去大型 Outlet 才更便宜。此外，Davis Downtown 亦有一些小店，可上網查看是否有 coupon，網址為：http://www.davisshopper.com
